My recent visit to the Bay Area. When I first started pursuing speaking about 2 years ago, one of my goals, in addition to having a positive impact on people while doing something I enjoy, was to have the opportunity to travel to places I had never been, which included California. It was such a great feeling to have the hard work and the challenges I’ve had to endure pay off with a great engagement and visit to a place I always dreamed of going to. I share this not as a look at me, because I am far from having “arrived,” but to encourage others to keep pushing on because you can get it done!
